You can choose to invade North Africa, or you can go north into Gaul.ĭacia is surrounded by pretty strong enemies. Once you consolidate the Iberian peninsula, the rest is easy. If you feel that they're going to attack you, launch a pre-emptive strike against them. The best you can do is remain allied for as long as you can. If you take Carthage's city, they don't come, because they can't. They have mediocre potential enemy to the south in the form of Carthage, and an immensely powerful enemy to the north in the form of Gaul. Spain starts out with their provinces divided into two sets of two provinces split by Gaul and Carthage. Spain and Dacia are also very difficult, but more so if you don't like to fight your own battles. Don't play them unless you LOVE fighting battles on the battlemap, and you LOVE micromanaging skirmishers because for a while that's going to be all you'll be doing.
